Rules for the Pumpkin Race
There are several rules you need to keep in mind to ensure that you can participate in the race. After all, you probably want to win fair and square, so keep these points in mind. First of all, you can only use one pumpkin. Don’t think you can use several together and still enter into the competition. Secondly, you must attach the wheels correctly. The axles must go through the wheels, and you can’t use any caster wheels. You also aren’t allowed to attach your pumpkin to any kind of chassis, so be sure to leave that office chair at home. When you’re at the race, you can’t do anything to help your pumpkin along – it has to move of its own accord. And for the safety of everyone at the event, keep in mind that your pumpkin can not contain any explosives or pyrotechnics.
